Este Ekādaśī es muy importante, pues si se observa de la forma apropiada (en caso de haber fallado por una u otra razón en algún Ekādaśī del año), esto queda absuelto. O de cualquier forma rendirá frutos de bhakti muy poderosos.

Apara Ekādaśī
Once Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira said, 'Oh Lord Kṛṣṇa, Oh Vāsudeva, please accept my humble obeisance's. Please describe to me the Ekādaśī that occurs during Kṛṣṇa pakṣa of the month of Jyeṣṭhā(May-June). Please narrate to me everything like its name, importance etc. about this Ekādaśī.

It is said that if one observes upavāsa(fasting) on this day then one receives entrance to Viṣṇu's abode, even though one has not performed the other vratas(half-day-fasts) of the year.
